This means we don't require you to register or provide information to us in order to view our site. We delete your credit card number from our database as soon as your order is processed, within 24 hours. Your name will go on our mailing list for newsletters and special offers but we never give our mailing list to anyone. You can always change your preference for follow-up contacts just by e-mailing us at any time. In some sections of our site, we ask for some personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, and phone number. We use this information only if we need to contact you directly because our attempts to contact you by e-mail were unsuccessful. We don't use the information internally for other purposes, and we don't share it with anyone else. We don't use your e-mail address for any purpose other than responding to the message you've sent. Cookies Like most companies, we use "cookie" technology on our web site. When you view the catalog section, the cookie keeps your preferences until you close your web browser. The cookie doesn't track any personal information about you or provide us with any way to contact you, and the cookie doesn't write to your hard drive or extract any information from your computer. Security When you place an order, your personal information is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layers). We use Thawte Server technology. You can always confirm that the security feature is activated by observing the closed security lock on your web browser. Problems with secure ordering? If you receive an error message when trying to access our secure server, you are one of the 3.8% of internet travelers who have an outdated browser that can't read our security.
